That’s very easy! Ask your boyfriend to be a man. It’s immature to wear more make-up than your future mother-in-law. “Goth” is not who he is… “Goth” is simply a fashion statement, and a club, for immature and feeble-minded young people (or people wanting to be young and irresponsible again).
Look around you! How many 30-40 something Goths do you see? How many Goth women do you see breastfeeding their infants at the mall? How many Goth men do you see working as roofers, teachers and doctors?
How many Goths still live at home? Almost all of them…
To sum it up: in order for your parents to accept and respect your boyfriend, he will first have to grow up and stop being a mindless fashion drone.
