Will me being a Christian affect my chances of finding a boyfriend?

I’m a devout Christian and I believe that you should not have sex until you are married. I’m 21 years old and a virgin, and I’m proud of it.
I do date guys but I don’t have sex with them. This seems to surprise the ones that don’t know about by beliefs and many have outright said that a relationship with me would never work. Most often I get dumped on the first date.
Will me being a Christian affect my chances of finding a boyfriend?
You better believe that it will be (is) affecting your chances of finding a boyfriend. I’m sure there are devout Christian virgin guys too… but those guys aren’t virgins by choice — they are virgins because they don’t know any better. As soon as the opportunity presents itself, they will go for the box instead of being compulsive masturbators (then they will lie about their virginity to gullible Christian girls like yourself, if need be, to get what they want).
Yes, I guess you could look for a virgin boy for yourself and try get him to marry you before his sack drops, or before he figures out how to go about things. However, it’s going to take a lot of luck and impeccable timing — and a lot of prayers (I assume…)
Normally one takes pride in ones accomplishments… Simple being able to keep ones clothes on isn’t really an accomplishment, so I can’t really figure out where this pride of yours comes from? Could it be that you are merely being smug?
You will often read in other columns that guys will wait for you, if they love you… This is not entirely true… In fact, it’s a half-truth. They will only wait for you, if you look like you were sculpted by a pervert with a really wild imagination. But they will only wait until their sack hangs down to their knees, or until another less painful alternative presents itself.
They will however not wait a second for mediocrity. Which is why you are being dumped as soon as a guy finds out about your stance on things. Why wait for something that’s available across the street? Makes sense, doesn’t it?
To sum it up: yes, it’s clearly affecting your chances, as you have noticed already.
